You can plug the mouse or keyboard into the USB ports on the front or back of the console.<\/p>\n<p>Wireless mouse and keyboards should also work, provided they use their own wireless USB dongle. No Xbox console can connect directly to a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse that doesn\u2019t come with a dongle. Some users have reported issues getting these two-in-one dongles working on their Xbox, so your mileage may vary. Many other titles are supported too including\u00a0<em>Sea of Thieves<\/em>, <em>Fortnite<\/em><em>, The Sims 4,<\/em>\u00a0<em>Minecraft<\/em>,\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Microsoft Flight Simulator<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>While no official resource exists, Pure Xbox has been keeping <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.purexbox.com\/guides\/games-with-mouse-and-keyboard-support-on-xbox-one-series-x-series-s\">a list of Xbox games<\/a> with keyboard and mouse support.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Navigate_and_Type_With_the_Keyboard_Too\"><\/span>Navigate and Type With the Keyboard Too<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A keyboard is most useful for text entry, and that\u2019s one of the main reasons to connect your keyboard to your Xbox. You can use a physical keyboard to enter text anywhere you are prompted for keyboard input using the on-screen keyboard.<\/p>\n<p>You can also use the arrow keys to navigate the dashboard as if you were using an Xbox controller (unfortunately there\u2019s no mouse pointer support for getting around the UI).<\/p>\n<p>There are also some handy keyboard shortcuts you can use to get around even quicker.
