CJ\u2019s been dealing with critics and trolls claiming he\u2019s an industry plant, and the 24-year-old is going to have the opportunity to silence them come this fall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">During his walk on the blue carpet for the 18th-anniversary celebration for\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">JAY-Z\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a040\/40 Club, CJ spoke to\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">HipHopDX<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0about his\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">upcoming debut album<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. When asked if he was ready to embark on a post-\u201cWhoopty\u201d era, the \u201cBOP\u201d rapper was confident in his answer while revealing when fans can stamp their ticket for the upcoming journey.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cYeah, for sure,\u201d CJ said. \u201cI want to say November-ish. Although he didn\u2019t reveal much else about the album, he did reveal two names featured on the untitled project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cRight now, we got Fredo Bang on there, and we got my boy, Rory. We don\u2019t got a title yet, we\u2019re still in the middle of that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">During his interview with\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">HipHopDX\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in January, CJ spoke on his legacy after catching a successful hit with<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cWhoopty.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cI don\u2019t want to be one of those rappers that have the spotlight and then go missing,\u201d CJ said. \u201cI\u2019m going to keep just working with different artists, being versatile and keep putting out hits. It\u2019s all about consistency, man.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">CJ\u2019s debut EP,\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Loyalty Over Royalty<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">was released in February 2021 and debuted at No. 56 on the Billboard 200 chart.
