A year later, the paperback version has been released with an updated epilogue that recounts everything that went down since the book first hit the shelves \u2014 and if you follow Royal Family drama, you know there\u2019s a LOT to cover.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Harry &amp; Meghan Came Close To Revealing Name Of Allegedly Racist Royal!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most notable event, of course, was the bombshell <strong>Oprah<\/strong> special. But you\u2019ll remember that just before the interview aired, a report came out claiming the actress had bullied palace staffers. In the new edition of <em>Finding Freedom<\/em>, though, the authors revealed those claims weren\u2019t all that they <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, \u201csources confirmed that upon discovery of <strong>Jason<\/strong> [<strong>Knauf<\/strong>]\u2019s email, two of the individuals mentioned in the email asked for any allegations made to HR about their experiences with Meghan to be rescinded.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sooo\u2026 it kind of sounds like some staffers were doing some average complaining about their boss, and Knauf escalated it, against their wishes, into a full blown investigation \u2014 which was still going on as of June, according to <em>Entertainment Tonight<\/em>. It\u2019s certainly a good way to make Meghan look bad on the world\u2019s stage.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, a friend of the couple told the authors:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHere we go again. It felt like certain individuals at the Palace were doing their very best to undermine and discredit anything they worried the couple may or may not say during the interview.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What we\u2019re getting here is, not only was the leak just before the Oprah interview a smear job, but the investigation itself was kind of bogus from the beginning. No wonder the Sussexes quit \u2014 with a (royal) family like that, who needs enemies?<\/p>\n<p>As we know, the royal rift has continued in the months following the infamous tell-all. Per <em>Finding Freedom<\/em>, <strong>Prince William<\/strong> is allegedly still \u201cfurious\u201d about it, but likely won\u2019t speak on the subject ever again. (Rude!) But apparently, Harry had high hopes the event would mend bridges with his family \u2014 he even bought a one-way ticket in case things went well and he might extend his stay.<\/p>\n<p>The authors wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThere was a feeling that this <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> might also present an opportunity to come together and talk without the filter of staff as go-betweens, a number of whom the Sussexes had come to discover were behind many of the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> leaks they dealt with as working royals.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>They claimed the brothers\u2019 conversation outside St George\u2019s Chapel following the funeral was their first face-to-face conversation in 15 months, and that they had \u201cat least two further conversations\u201d while the military vet was in England. Harry reportedly only spoke briefly with dad <strong>Prince Charles<\/strong>, and their issues remain \u201cunresolved\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"archies-title\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Archies_title\"><\/span>Archie\u2019s title<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Meghan expressed concern over lack of security offered to Archie in the <strong>CBS<\/strong> interview, even though the parents had reportedly eschewed royal titles for their children previously. According to <em>Finding Freedom<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cPalace aides were actually instructed to brief the press the couple did not want a title for Archie. \u2026 In reality, the couple did want the option, given it would provide their son with a level of security that only comes with a title. The differential treatment the couple felt had been bestowed upon their son was a major sting to Harry and Meghan.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"meghan-harrys-quarantine-anniversary\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Meghan_Harrys_quarantine_anniversary\"><\/span>Meghan &amp; Harry\u2019s quarantine anniversary<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The book also detailed the couple\u2019s adorable wedding anniversary celebration in May of 2020:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWith restaurant outings off-limits, the couple had to get a little creative in May for their second-anniversary festivities at home, spending part of the day looking back at their 2018 with a number of people who had been part of the wedding festivities, including vendors that had helped bring their magical Windsor Castle ceremony to life.<\/p>\n<p>They capped off the day with a Southern Californian favorite: Mexican food ordered from a popular local restaurant, washed down with margaritas (alcoholic for him, nonalcoholic for her).<\/p>\n<p>For gifts, they exchanged cotton-based items, as the tradition suggests.<\/p>\n<p>The home celebration was a rare day off for the couple, who focused their new life of freedom around service.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"becoming-pregnant-with-lili\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Becoming_pregnant_with_Lili\"><\/span>Becoming pregnant with Lili<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Regarding Sussex Baby #2, the authors noted that following Meghan\u2019s devastating miscarriage:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe couple tried for another child and later in the year found out they were pregnant again.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While the couple was ecstatic, they waited until well into the second trimester to announce the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Queen Elizabeth \u2018Getting Lawyered Up\u2019 Amid Drama With Meghan &amp; Harry???<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A friend explained:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cShe felt it was truly a blessing from God. But this time, they were careful not to tell anyone. It wasn\u2019t until toward the end of the year that they both started to feel more relaxed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"no-regrets\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"No_regrets\"><\/span>No regrets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019ve heard it before, but <em>Finding Freedom<\/em> reiterated that Meghan and Harry have no regrets about where they are now, despite all the drama. The book read:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAs difficult as recent years have been, sources close to the Sussexes say that neither Harry nor Meghan have any regrets about the decisions they have made. What started as a fairy-tale romance became a story that reinvented the genre \u2014 a self-made, independent woman playing an equal role alongside her knight.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Aww!
