\nCamila Cabello<\/strong> dealt with a scary situation at the El Lay premiere of her new Cinderella<\/em> movie!<\/p>\n

After slaying the red carpet in an Oscar De La Renta<\/strong> gown Monday evening, the songstress prepared to go on stage inside The Greek Theatre \u2014 but had an alarming moment before getting there.<\/p>\n

And, no, we don\u2019t mean a Jennifer-Lawrence-trip<\/a>ping-on-her-gown moment: Cami straight up \u201cpassed out\u201d! As she joined co-stars Billy Porter<\/b>, Idina Menzel<\/strong>, and more on the stage, the 24-year-old told the audience:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry, I just passed out, but I\u2019m back!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

OMG!<\/p>\n

Shawn Mendes<\/strong>\u2019 girlfriend didn\u2019t share any additional details on the fainting spell, but she added:<\/p>\n

\u201cI literally just passed out, and now I\u2019m back and I\u2019m ready to read my notes.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yikes. We hope she\u2019s okay!<\/p>\n

Fortunately, it was smooth sailing after that. The Don\u2019t Go Yet<\/em> hitmaker went on to deliver a powerful speech in which she thanked her supporters. She shared:<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all! Thanks for being here. I wrote this down so I wouldn\u2019t forget. All I can say is this was such an incredible experience. All I can say is this was such an incredible experience. I believed in this movie so much, that all I wanted was to enjoy it and not f**k it up. And I\u2019m happ<\/a>y I didn\u2019t f**k it up. And I\u2019m grateful for everybody who believed in me enough to give me the opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As fans know, the Amazon Studios<\/strong> film was a bit of a passion project for Camila, who told Variety<\/em> in 2019 that the movie \u201cwas one of those things that felt like God handcrafted it for me and was, like, \u2018Here you go.\u2019\u201d She added:<\/p>\n

\u201cI just couldn\u2019t say no. It\u2019s honestly a dream for me. And also a little bit terrifying\u2026 For my first acting classes, I was, like, \u2018What the f**k am I doing here? This is so scary.\u2019 But my acting coach, Anthony Meindl<\/strong>, taught me it\u2019s all about the act of surrender and \u2018the art of listening,\u2019 as opposed to being in your head. That\u2019s the only technique he has for acting, as simple as it is.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In March 2020, Porter, who plays the fairy godmother, explained that the film is a take on the popular fairy-tale for a new generation. He shared:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not about women needing a man for validation. It\u2019s about women empowering themselves, and that\u2019s a really great message to be sending out into the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We may never know what caused Camila\u2019s fainting spell, but it\u2019s safe to say she killed it in her first major acting role!<\/p>\n
