“#We finally get a good look at Subaru’s first EV: the Solterra<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Truth be told, Subaru has been taking it slow when it comes to EVs, as it announced earlier this year that its first one will hit the US market in 2022.<\/p>\n

In May, when the company released its first teaser, we got to know just a few things.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> It\u2019s an SUV.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> It has a beautiful name. It\u2019s called Solterra, from the combination of the Latin words \u201csun\u201d (sol) and \u201cearth\u201d (terra) to \u201crepresent Subaru\u2019s\u00a0 commitment to deliver traditional SUV capabilities in an environmentally responsible package.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

3. <\/strong>It features a new, dedicated all-electric platform named the e-SUBARU Global Platform.<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> It\u2019s created in partnership with Toyota.<\/p>\n

Subaru also revealed two images that were totally unrevealing<\/em>.<\/p>\n
