\nKanye West and Drake reignited their feud in August with a number of jabs stemming from Drizzy\u2019s verse on Trip<\/a>pie Redd\u2019s \u201cBetrayal.\u201d But despite all of the shots being fired, Kanye\u2019s manager Abou \u201cBu\u201d Thiam believes they could still put everything behind them \u2014 as long as nothing else is said on Drake\u2019s new album.<\/p>\n

During an interview with TMZ,<\/a><\/em> Bu shared his thoughts on the situation leading up to Certified Lover Boy\u2019s<\/em> expected arrival on Friday (September 3).<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s two creatives taking jabs at each other, but they could rectify it, man,\u201d he admitted. \u201cYeah, of course. You know, we\u2019ll see. His album comes out I think in a couple days \u2026 Friday. Depending on what he says on his album, we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n

He agreed with the interviewer\u2019s comments about it being too soon to judge due to potential unreleased disses from Drake.<\/p>\n

Bu also touched on Chris Brown and Soulja Boy voicing their disapp<\/a>roval with Kanye West for not using their vocals on Donda<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s Kanye\u2019s album, man,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s painting his picture. You can\u2019t tell someone to use your verse or not use your verse. There\u2019s 10001 artists that didn\u2019t make the album. That\u2019s why I was so surprised when I heard the responses from all these artists. I\u2019m like, \u2018People do that shit all the time.\u2019 No disrespect, Chris [Brown] is like my little brother, that\u2019s family, Soulja Boy\u2026 it\u2019s all love and it wasn\u2019t intentional.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cBut Ye is a producer, so his job is to find the best parts in the music and add it to his creative process. He reached out to Chris. Listen, Chris is a very passionate artist. It did it get figured out. It\u2019s just creatives having they beefs and shit like that, but it\u2019s all good. Chris is family to us.\u201d<\/p>\n

As well as teasing an upcoming tour, Bu briefly touched on Kanye West\u2019s issues with Universal Music Group after claims the label released Donda<\/em> without his permission.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was just a miscommunication on the clearance side,\u201d he explained. \u201cIt was a situation where it maybe wasn\u2019t cleared from his side, from his label\u2019s side, and the music was already injected in the system. So by the time we rectified it, the music came out.\u201d<\/p>\n
