All of the films that streaming services are putting out, I\u2019m sorry, they look like fake <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> to me,\u201d Jenkins said, the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/entertainment-arts\/business\/newsletter\/2021-08-31\/how-wonder-woman-1984-director-patty-jenkins-really-feels-about-streaming-movies-the-wide-shot\">Los Angeles Times reported<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t hear about them, I don\u2019t read about them. It\u2019s not working as a model for establishing legendary greatness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think [\u2018Wonder Woman 1984\u2019] plays the same on streaming, ever,\u201d she continued before adding, \u201cI\u2019m not a fan of day-and-date and I hope to avoid it forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jenkins also directed the film\u2019s predecessor, \u201cWonder Woman,\u201d in 2017, where it scored $822 million worldwide. \u201cI make movies for the big-screen experience,\u201d she said at the convention. <\/p>\n<p>She also stated that she would never make movies for Netflix, however, she \u201clikes working with [the streaming platform] for television.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wouldn\u2019t make a movie there or any streaming service with those terms,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s hard to market a movie when it has a limited run.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/patty-jenkins-002.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"patty jenkins\" class=\"wp-image-19334388\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/patty-jenkins-002.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/patty-jenkins-002.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/patty-jenkins-002.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Jenkins directed both 2017\u2019s \u201cWonder Woman\u201d and its 2020 sequel.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Her comments may seem ironic as \u201cWonder Woman 1984\u201d was supposed to be exclusively released in cinemas last year until the pandemic forced theaters to shut down. The DC movie was subsequently released on HBO Max as well as in theaters simultaneously. <\/p>\n<p>The sequel smashed box office records during the lockdown. The superhero flick starred Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig.
