\nBlackground Records 2.0 is continuing to release some of their most revered albums from former artists such as Timbaland, Magoo and the late Aaliyah, and now they\u2019re tapp<\/a>ing into their movie soundtracks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Friday (September 3), Blackground Records 2.0 unleashed the soundtracks to the cult classic films\u00a0<\/span>Romeo Must Die\u00a0<\/span><\/em>and\u00a0<\/span>Exit Wounds<\/span><\/em>. In addition, Blackground also released Aaliyah\u2019s classic \u201cAre You That Somebody,\u201d originally featured on the Dr. Dolittle<\/em> soundtrack, on streaming platforms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aaliyah made her acting debut alongside Jet Li and the late DMX in 2000\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Romeo Must Die.\u00a0<\/span><\/em>The soundtrack features Aaliyah\u2019s smash hit \u201cTry Again,\u201d her DMX collaboration \u201cCome Back In One Piece,\u201d as well as records from Joe, Timbaland and Magoo, Destiny\u2019s Child and more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
