Kaguya-hime no Koibito<\/span><\/a> (The Lover of Princess Kaguya)<\/strong><\/em>, the latest musical show from the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon franchise, kicked off at The Galaxy Theater in Tokyo on September 3. The show was originally slated for the summer of 2020 but has been postponed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

This new show is based on the 1994 film Sailor Moon S: The Movie<\/strong><\/em>, whose manga<\/a> edition drawn by Naoko Takeuchi was also published in the same year under the title Kaguya-hime no Koibito<\/em><\/strong>. The popular episode among fans told a sad love story between Usagi Tsukino’s partner, Luna, and a young astronomer named Kakeru Ohzora, who saved her.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The show’s first and final day (September 3\u00a0and 12) performances are live-streamed through\u00a0the Streaming+<\/span><\/a> streaming services to the audience in Japan first, then will also be available to\u00a0the international audience through\u00a0GLOBE CODING<\/span><\/a> at a later date.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

GLOBE CODING introduces itself on its website as: “a high-quality internet video streaming service based on distribution technology<\/a> and quality cultivated through live viewing video streaming for movie theaters, and an understanding of on-site stage production environments.” Further details such as its ticket price and schedule will be announced soon.<\/p>\n
