Though they\u2019ve had their challenges (Cons left G.O.O.D. Music in 2011 on bad terms), their friendship has weathered each and every storm. So, it comes as no surprise the A Tribe Called Quest affiliate is standing up for Ye with a new diss track called \u201cParty Time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The song arrived on Saturday night (September 4), hours after Drake leaked the Kanye West and Andr\u00e9 3000 collaboration \u201cLife Of The Party,\u201d which included several jabs at Drake.<\/p>\n<p>Early in the track, Consequence makes a slick reference to Pusha T\u2019s seething Drake diss in which he revealed the OVO boss had fathered a child with former soft porn actress Sophie Brassaux. He also accused him of unapologetically pursuing Kanye\u2019s wife Kim Kardashian.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou might as well say you\u2019ll take the next man\u2019s life,\u201d he raps. \u201c\u2018Cause that\u2019s the dark place that makes most men fight\/But from the outside, a person can tell\/You going through your own personal hell\/Your parents out here like Sonya and Dell\/And ever since Sophie had a story to tell\/You been taking Ls and coming out the cage\/And thought we couldn\u2019t tell you were coming after K.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?visual=true&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F1118985778&amp;show_artwork=true&amp;maxheight=750&amp;maxwidth=500\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Drake and Kanye West\u2019s purported feud was reginited last month after Drake took a few shots at Ye on the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trip<\/a>pie Redd song \u201cBetrayal.\u201d From there, it grew increasingly more petty, with Kanye sharing Drake\u2019s Toronto address on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> and Drake laughing hysterically at his own antics.<\/p>\n<p>But it seemed to elevate to another level when Drake leaked the \u201cLife Of The Party\u201d track, an outtake from the <em>Donda<\/em> album. It prompted Andr\u00e9 3000, who rarely speaks on social media, to address the song and explain why it didn\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear on the final project.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA few weeks ago Kanye reached out about me being a part of the <em>Donda<\/em> album,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI was inspired by his idea to make a musical tribute to his mom. It felt appropriate to me to support the <em>Donda<\/em> concept by referencing my own mother, who passed away in 2013. We both share that loss.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought it was a beautiful choice to make a clean album but, unfortunately, I didn\u2019t know that was the plan before I wrote and recorded my verse.
