\nA lot of celebs are shameless when it comes to self-promotion on social media<\/a>; it\u2019s all part of the game<\/a> these days. But many feel 50 Cent<\/strong> crossed the line this time.<\/p>\n

The In Da Club<\/em> rapp<\/a>er sparked major outrage this week when he took to social media on Monday to post about the news<\/a> of actor Michael K. Williams<\/strong>\u2019 death \u2014 and, for some reason, thought it was a good idea to promote his show Power Book III: Raising Kanan<\/em> AND his liquor brands Branson Cognac<\/strong> and Le Chemin Duroi<\/strong> in the process.<\/p>\n

Alongside an article of The Wire<\/em> alum\u2019s untimely passing \u2014 which, according to the NYPD<\/strong>, is being investigated as a possible overdose from heroin or fentanyl \u2014 the hip-hop icon wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cDamn if you didn\u2019t see [Power Book III:<\/em>] Raising Kanan<\/em> check it out that fentanyl is no joke, killing the clientele.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He then misspelled the Boardwalk Empire<\/em> vet\u2019s name, writing, \u201cR.I.P micheal k williams,\u201d before adding hashtags for the liquor brands \u2014 which he does for all his posts, for what it\u2019s worth.<\/p>\n

But he didn\u2019t stop there. In a followup post, the 46-year-old shared a screenshot of a Page Six<\/em> article detailing his real-life feud with the late Williams, writing alongside the caption:<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t ever try to understand me I\u2019m different. I don\u2019t do all the fake love s**t.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
