Dr. Anthony Youn\u2019s video entitled, \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@tonyyounmd\/video\/7001148067525250310\">Why you should never sleep without underpants<\/a>!\u201d has since gained over 11 million views.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe average person passes gas 15 to 25 times a day, and this can h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en while you\u2019re sleeping,\u201d the Detroit-based physician explained. \u201cA scientific study proved every time you pass gas you\u2019re spraying a tiny amount of fecal material.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While that is gross but true, the 48-year-old doctor said underwear can help eradicate some of the germs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd that same study shows your tighty-whities will catch all of these particles,\u201d he continued. \u201cSo, for the sake of your bed partner, please sleep with your underwear on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Youn also posted the video on his <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?time_continue=2&amp;v=5xnPAAVlNIc&amp;feature=emb_title\">YouTube page<\/a>. In a comment, he added more information regarding the use of female undergarments: \u201cFor women, if your gyno tells you to sleep without underwear then listen to them. For guys, put your tighty-whities on before bed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans couldn\u2019t help but joke at the doctor\u2019s statements and took to TikTok and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a>\u2019s comments sections to express their shock. One user wrote, \u201cFecal matter on the bedsheets. What a delightful thought. Thanks, underwear. I don\u2019t have a partner.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time the plastic surgery doctor has gone viral for his medical advice. In <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/CP4mGi7ADzq\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=fde0b3c5-2f5d-4d71-84f0-c1dd27e5626c\">another video<\/a> posted in June, he called out the medical community over its failure to recognize a painful condition tied to breast implants known as \u201cbreast implant illness.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBreast implants can cause a constellation of symptoms in some women, called BII,\u201d he wrote in the video\u2019s caption. \u201cYes, I believe it\u2019s REAL. But I also believe that most women do just fine with implants.
