Your childhood is calling!<\/p>\n<p>If you were a child of the \u201890s, chances are you have fond memories of <em>Blue\u2019s Clues<\/em>. The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> was rebooted in 2019 with a new host, <strong>Joshua Dela Cruz<\/strong>, but OG fans still recall the beloved original host, Steve. <strong>Steve Burns<\/strong> was there from the first episode in 1996 until he handed over the reins to his \u201cbrother,\u201d Joe (<strong>Donovan Patton<\/strong>), which definitely broke some kids\u2019 hearts back in the day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Why Steve REALLY Left\u00a0<em>Blue\u2019s Clues<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, in honor of the iconic series\u2019 25th anniversary, Steve returned to talk about his \u201cabrupt\u201d departure. In a video message (below) posted on <strong>Nick Jr.<\/strong>\u2019s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a><\/strong> page, the TV personality said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYou remember how, when we were younger, we used to run around and hang out with Blue and find clues and talk to Mr. Salt and freak out about the mail and do all the fun stuff? And then one day, I was like, \u2018Oh hey, guess what? Big <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>. I\u2019m leaving!\u2019 Can we just talk about that?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He went on to explain:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI realize that was kind of abrupt. I just kinda got up and went to college. That was really challenging, by the way, but great because I got to use my mind and take a step away\u2026and now I literally am doing many of the things that I wanted to do. And then look at you! And look at all you have done and all you have accomplished in all that time! It\u2019s just so amazing, right?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">So about that time Steve went off to college\u2026 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BluesClues25?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#BluesClues25<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/O8NOM2eRjy\">pic.twitter.com\/O8NOM2eRjy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Nick Jr. (@nickjr) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nickjr\/status\/1435332689532440579?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 7, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p class=\"highlight\">OMG. We\u2019re getting a little emotional!<\/p>\n<p>The 47-year-old continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI mean, we started out with clues and now, it\u2019s what? Student loans, and jobs, and families. And some of it has been kind of hard, you know? I know you know. I wanted to tell you that I really couldn\u2019t have done all of that without your help. In fact, all the help that you helped me with when we were younger is still helping me today. Right now. And I\u2019m super glad we\u2019re still friends. Thanks for listening.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Wow. That\u2019s the closure we never knew we needed! After a particularly difficult couple of years (you know, with the whole pandemic going on), it really is comforting to see an old friend return to our screens and give us this kind of reassurance.
