Sony Interactive Entertainment is planning to develop a new game in the Twisted Metal<\/em> series<\/a> to coincide with the upcoming television series from PlayStation Productions, according to VentureBeat reporter Jeff Grubb in his latest Giant Bomb video show. <\/span><\/p>\n
\u201cI think Twisted Metal<\/em> is in the works but it may still be a ways off, so I think we\u2019re early,\u201d Grubb said. \u201cThat speaks to a larger strategy shift from Sony\u2014well, it\u2019s not even a shift, it\u2019s a \u2018broadening\u2019 of their strategy.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf they have Twisted Metal<\/em> ready to show [at Thursday\u2019s PlayStation Showcase 2021], they might. But either way, it does seem like it\u2019s in the works, it does seem that it\u2019s coming, and it does seem like it does not involve David Jaffe.\u201d<\/p>\n
