And they were great,\u201d Steinberg said, according to\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/kdvr.com\/news\/local\/jury-deliberations-underway-in-trial-of-former-nfl-player-accused-of-attempted-murder\/\">video of the trial published by KDVR<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cAnd then when they were done with them, as you know historically, they fed them to the lions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors argued that Bannan was high, not crazy \u2014 and the jury agreed, sacking the former footballer with a guilty verdict after eight hours of deliberation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis case is about a woman who woke up in the morning, got ready for work, played with her daughter, drove to what would be her office \u2013\u00a0a place of healing \u2013\u00a0opened the door, and found her life changed forever,\u201d prosecutor Adrian Van Nice told the jury.<\/p>\n<p>Bannan, who did not testify during his trial, faces between 16 and 48 years in prison when he is sentenced in November.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
