That same month, Rick Ross debuted the lead single \u201cPinned to the Cross\u201d during his Verzuz battle against 2 Chainz. He later said the album would arrive in January, but unknown delays have kept it on the shelf.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with <em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/hauteliving.com\/2020\/11\/rick-ross-richer-than-ive-ever-been\/692179\/\">Haute Living<\/a><\/em> magazine last year, Rozay explained the meaning behind the album\u2019s title.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the surface, some would say, of course, \u2018Rozay got the money,\u2019 and that is true \u2014 I\u2019m in a better position than I\u2019ve ever been,\u201d he said. \u201cBut it\u2019s much deeper than that \u2026 To be richer than you\u2019ve ever been, you have to be connected with yourself more than you ever have. Before you open up and allow someone else to love you, you have to love yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the album delay, Rick Ross hasn\u2019t been quiet this year.
