{"id":338487,"date":"2021-09-13T08:55:53","date_gmt":"2021-09-13T05:55:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/nyc-man-tyrik-mott-busted-for-crash-that-killed-infant\/"},"modified":"2021-09-13T08:55:53","modified_gmt":"2021-09-13T05:55:53","slug":"nyc-man-tyrik-mott-busted-for-crash-that-killed-infant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/nyc-man-tyrik-mott-busted-for-crash-that-killed-infant\/","title":{"rendered":"#NYC man Tyrik Mott busted for crash that killed infant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#NYC man Tyrik Mott busted for crash that killed infant<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/baby-hit-gates-ave-13.jpeg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>The suspect busted in the hit-run crash that killed a 3-month girl in Brooklyn was ordered held on bail Sunday \u2014 after it was revealed at his arraignment that he asked arresting officers to go easy on him.<\/p>\n<p>Wrong-way driver Tyrik Mott, 28, was arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court on the top charge of attempted robbery for allegedly trying to steal a 41-year-old driver\u2019s car to get away after the fatal collision Saturday in Clinton Hill.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Deepa Ambekar ordered Mott held on $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 partially secured bond at his arraignment.<\/p>\n<p>Mott allegedly blew a red light before crashing into another car, killing the baby being pushed in a stroller by her mom on a sidewalk, cops have said.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect was caught after fleeing the scene on foot and trying to steal another driver\u2019s car, according to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>At that point, Mott asked officers \u201cif he could just get a ticket,\u201d Assistant District Attorney Tzyonah Langsam said in court Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p>Langsam said more charges against Mott are expected to be filed Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The car Mott had been driving at the time has racked up 160 traffic violations.<\/p>\n<p>Mott\u2019s private attorney, Lance Lazzaro, argued his client should be set free.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe way that they wrote this case up, it should have been an ROR,\u201d Lazzaro told The Post after the arraignment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe did not follow the factors under the new bail reform statute,\u201d Lazzaro said, referring to the judge. And, had she followed it, it would have been an ROR. He is recommended for release, he had no criminal record,\u201d the lawyer said.<\/p>\n<p>About five of Mott\u2019s relatives attended his arraignment, including his mother, who defended him in a brief interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s a good boy,\u201d the mother, who only identified herself as Mrs. Mott, told The Post.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
