Deathloop is a demanding game when one looks at the required specs. Nvidia users are recommended to use driver version 471.96 or newer, with the minimum supported driver being version 461.40. AMD users are recommended to use driver version 21.9.1.<\/p>\n<p>If players are still facing issues, they might have to make some changes in the settings of the game. It may be that the video settings in-game are too high, which might be giving you trouble.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In that case, it is recommended that players bring their screen resolution to 1920\u00d71080, with the full screen turned on. The Nvidia Reflex can be turned off, but if players have an RTX card, they can always turn it on.<\/li>\n<li>Low latency, C-Sync, Upscaling, Camera Motion Blur, and Depth of Field must be turned off. Texture details can be kept on low, while Model, Shadow, Water, Terrain, Decal details can all be kept on medium. Nvidia users can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open Nvidia control panel<\/li>\n<li>Click on Adjust Image Settings with Preview under 3D settings<\/li>\n<li>Select Use the Advanced 3D mage settings<\/li>\n<li>Select Manage 3D settings from the left bar<\/li>\n<li>Click on the Program Settings tab<\/li>\n<li>Locate Deathloop in the drop-down tab under Select a Program<\/li>\n<li>Click the Add button and add Deathloop, if the game is not there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When this is done, program settings for Deathloop will be available, where further changes can be made. The following changes can be made:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CUDA \u2013 GPUs: Select your dedicated GPU<\/li>\n<li>OpenGL rendering GPU: Select your dedicated GPU<\/li>\n<li>Power Management:\u00a0Prefer Maximum Performance<\/li>\n<li>Texture filtering \u2013 Quality:\u00a0Performance<\/li>\n<li>Threaded Optimization:\u00a0On<\/li>\n<li>Vertical sync:\u00a0Off<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If players are using a laptop with Nvidia graphic unit, it must be ensured that a dedicated GPU is being used, and not the integrated one. Players can follow the given steps to change this setting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open Nvidia Control Panel<\/li>\n<li>Open Manage 3D settings<\/li>\n<li>Set Preferred Graphics Processor to High-Performace Nvidia Processor<\/li>\n<li>Restart the system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, players can turn off the Nvidia in-game overlay, which may use a lot of resources, particularly the \u201cInstant Replay\u201d feature. It is recommended that all overlays are turned off. Similarly, Windows Background recording can also be turned off from the \u201cGaming\u201d option in the Settings menu.
