The band will be resuming their No Filter tour Sept. 26 in St. Louis. Watts was put to rest early last week in a private funeral in the UK, but his bandmates were unable to make the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> due to COVID restrictions. Jagger, 78, Richards, 77, and Wood, 74, were in Boston rehearsing and couldn\u2019t fly home to England.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>At the time of Watts\u2019 death, the band, as well as friends and fans, paid tribute to the musician. \u201cIt is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie Watts,\u201d the\u00a0trio\u2019s statement read. \u201cHe passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCharlie was a cherished husband, father and grandfather and also a member of the Rolling Stones one of the greatest drummers of his generation. We kindly request that the privacy of his family, band members and close friends is respected at this difficult time,\u201d their note continued. <\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/eltonofficial\/status\/1430213430095630343\">Elton John wrote<\/a> at the time: \u201cA very sad day. Charlie Watts was the ultimate drummer. The most stylish of men, and such brilliant company. My deepest condolences to Shirley, Seraphina and Charlotte. And of course, The Rolling Stones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCharlie Watts was the most elegant and dignified drummer in rock and roll. He played exactly what was needed \u2014 no more \u2014 no less.
