You\u2019re probably just not spending enough time on TikTok. <\/p>\n<p>While coveted spots on the carpet and in the front row have long been reserved for A-list celebs, guest lists are changing to include social media influencers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a whole world that I didn\u2019t even have a glimpse of a year ago,\u201d said <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deannagiulietti.com\/\">De\u00e1nna Giulietti<\/a>, a Broadway performer-turned-<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@deannagiulietti?\">TikTok star<\/a>, who lives in Harlem and was invited to various Fashion Week festivities. \u201cTo see those faces at the fashion events \u2014 which used to be seen as completely unattainable \u2014 I was like, \u2018That\u2019s the future.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old took to TikTok last year as the pandemic ravaged the arts in Manhattan, gaining popularity from showing off her daily looks.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>For Fashion Week, she showcased her outfit of the day \u2014 otherwise known as her \u201cOOTD\u201d or \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@deannagiulietti\/video\/7005324331223911685\">oo-ta-dah<\/a>\u201d \u2014\u00a0 to her 1.4 million followers. She also posted about her busy days and nights, from <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@deannagiulietti\/video\/7005944137564392709\">hosting <\/a>an event for fashion students to going to various shows to watching Paris Hilton DJ at a Saks party next to G-Eazy. But, after moving to the East Village, the 23-year-old started posting about her personal life and fashion. She attended the Alice + Olivia and Rebecca Minkoff shows, and said she felt like a bit of an imposter. It made for a sometimes grueling-but-glam schedule, partying with singer-songwriter Kim Petras at Saks til 3 a.m. and then waking up a few hours later to edit videos to post. But the good times and camaraderie with other content creators made it all worth it. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s really been fun because all the TikTokers are all in it together,\u201d said the 19-year-old, who lives in the West Village. \u201cWe\u2019re all AirDropping each other videos, we\u2019re all capturing each other and then sending it.
