{"id":339868,"date":"2021-09-16T04:35:08","date_gmt":"2021-09-16T01:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/police-not-ruling-out-link-between-murder-and-petito-case-report\/"},"modified":"2021-09-16T04:35:08","modified_gmt":"2021-09-16T01:35:08","slug":"police-not-ruling-out-link-between-murder-and-petito-case-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/police-not-ruling-out-link-between-murder-and-petito-case-report\/","title":{"rendered":"#Police not &#8216;ruling out&#8217; link between murder and Petito case: report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Police not &#8216;ruling out&#8217; link between murder and Petito case: report<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/Gabby-Petito-3.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>Utah police are not \u201cruling out\u201d whether the case of missing Long Island native Gabby Petito is related to a double-homicide at a campground near Moab last month.<\/p>\n<p>Petito, 22, was last seen in Wyoming late last month, but Moab police were called to a domestic \u201cincident\u201d involving the woman and her boyfriend Brian Laundrie on Aug. 12, as they traversed the state in a van. <\/p>\n<p>No arrests were made and no charges were filed after cops responded to the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Two days later, a newlywed couple was found shot to death in nearby South Mesa after being seen at a bar in town the night before, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/utah-gabby-petito-crystal-turner-kylen-schulte-brian-laundrie\">according to Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Grand County Sheriff\u2019s Office told the outlet they aren\u2019t ruling anything out, as they look for a suspect in that slaying.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re looking at everything, I mean, anything and everything that was suspicious around that time or we\u2019re not ruling anything out at this time,\u201d a spokesman reportedly said, adding \u201cwe\u2019re just investigating the information as it comes in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Grand County Sheriff\u2019s Office did not im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely return The Post\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>Petito was reported missing on Sept. 11 after going more than a week without contacting her family. Laundrie, 23, returned to the Florida home they shared alone in her van, and his lawyer issued a statement that said he would remain \u201cin the background\u201d of the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Cops in Florida declared him a person of interest Wednesday as the hunt for the missing woman grew increasingly desperate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a father, I can imagine the pain and suffering Gabby\u2019s family is going through,\u201d North Port Police Chief Todd Garrison said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleading with anyone, including Brian, to share information with us on her whereabouts in the past weeks,\u201d Garrison said. \u201cThe lack of information from Brian is hindering this investigation.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
