\u201cJohn Dutton has been shot up, Beth has been blown up, Kayce was in a gunfight,\u201d Cole Hauser (who plays Rip Wheeler) helpfully recaps where Yellowstone<\/em> left Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, and Luke Grimes\u2018 characters in the new preview for Season 4.<\/p>\n

\u201cLife is cruel and uncaring,\u201d John says at the beginning of the video. \u201cMakes you wonder the point of it all. Find someone you love so much just to lose them.\u201d But will the Duttons lose one of their own? That\u2019s the big question after the Season 3 finale.<\/p>\n

What we do know is that \u201cSeason 4 opens with just equal amounts of chaos,\u201d Kelsey Asbille (Monica, who\u2019s married to Kayce) says.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere we pick up is right where we left off, the action of the scene is real-time,\u201d Wes Bentley (who plays Jamie) teases. \u201cMy heart was pumping just reading it, so I think it\u2019s going to be pretty spectacular to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

As creator Taylor Sheridan points out, \u201cIt was a devastating attack against the family, so we gotta figure out who\u2019s left to look into it.\u201d That\u2019s where Bentley comes in, helpfully recapp<\/a>ing the family\u2019s enemies: anyone involved in Broken Rock, big-money players trying to bring a ski resort to the area, small-time criminals looking for retribution, or \u201csomeone right in their own living room.\u201d After all, Jamie did tell Rip he shouldn\u2019t call him in the finale right before everything went down. So is it really at all surprising that Hauser suspects Bentley\u2019s character?<\/p>\n

To put it simply, in Season 4, \u201ceverybody\u2019s going to get f**ked up,\u201d Hauser says.<\/p>\n
