The book is published by Post Hill Press.<\/p>\n<p>The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.simonandschuster.com\/books\/Uneven-Justice\/Raj-Rajaratnam\/9781637582817\">post says<\/a> that Rajaratnam\u2019s case \u201cillustrates the horrific perils of unchecked prosecutorial overreach, written by the man who experienced it firsthand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rajaratnam, the post adds, \u201cchose to go to trial rather than concede to a false narrative concocted by ambitious prosecutors looking for a scapegoat for the 2008 financial crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeanwhile, not a single senior bank executive responsible for the financial crisis was even charged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rajaratnam was convicted on 14 counts of conspiracy and securities fraud.
