According to the graphic novelist, trading the NFT for the car was \u201cas simple as supply and demand,\u201d saying there were 10,000 of the tokens currently available valued for a starting price of $60,000. VeeFriends lists 40 similar porcupines in a variety of backgrounds. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere&#8217;s almost no difference as far as the money perspective goes by having it whether it&#8217;s in a collectible car or a collectible NFT \u2014 it&#8217;s still collectible,\u201d said Markham.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>&#8216;Why I spent $111K on a digital F1 Car&#8217; \u2014 NFT collector<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Though the two collectors sw<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed the NFT on the blockchain, the trade was largely carried out in the real world, with Markham physically handing Burton the paper title and key to the Tesla. The porcupine is currently <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/opensea.io\/assets\/0xa3aee8bce55beea1951ef834b99f3ac60d1abeeb\/7434\/\">listed<\/a> on OpenSea with a high bid of 16.339 Wrapped Ether (WETH) \u2014 roughly $56,445 at the time of publication \u2014 but Markham hinted he planned to keep the NFT to gain admission to an exclusive conference for VeeFriends token holders. <\/p>\n<p>Some crypto users have also been experimenting with linking NFTs to physical collectibles. In July, an entrepreneur launched simultaneous auctions for a job application from Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and an NFT of the same.
