pal<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>Gabby Petito\u2019s boyfriend Brian Laundrie, who has now also gone missing and is sought by the FBI, suffered with jealousy and control issues and experienced \u201cepisodes\u201d in which he would hear voices and not be able to sleep, Petito\u2019s friend <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10002817\/Gabby-Petitos-best-friend-claims-Brian-Laundrie-jealous-controlling.html\">told The Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rose Davis, 21, of Sarasota, described Laundrie as a controlling and manipulative boyfriend, in one incident stealing Petitio\u2019s ID so she wouldn\u2019t be able to go out to bars with her. <\/p>\n<p>Petito had described the strange episodes to Davis, which at times forced Petito to sleep at her house.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s got these jealousy issues and he struggles from what Gabby called these \u201cepisodes,\u201d where he would hear things and hear voices and wouldn\u2019t sleep,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGabby had to stay at my house a bunch of times because she just needed a breather and didn\u2019t want to go home to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Davis said she \u201cused to consider [Laundrie] a friend,\u201d after spending time with the couple.<\/p>\n<figure believed Laundrie was jealous of their relationship and taking her away from him.<\/p>\n<p>She said the two friends would share locations on their iPhones to keep each other safe \u201cin case we got caring guy. But you could tell he\u2019s a little off, a little weird. Like, he\u2019d set up our hammocks when we\u2019d go to the beach, but wouldn\u2019t sit with us, which I found bizarre,\u201d she told the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrian has a jealousy issue,\u201d Rose said. \u201cI\u2019m her only friend in Florida to my knowledge and that\u2019s not because she can\u2019t make friends, he just didn\u2019t want her to have friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was always worried she was going to leave him,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was a constant thing to try to get us to stop hanging out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Davis told the Daily Mail that she\u2019d last spoken to Petito in early August, where they discussed meeting up in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming for Davis\u2019 birthday on Aug. 29. Davis said that she had requested off work for the days, but never went after never hearing back from Petito.<\/p>\n<p>She said that the couple never fought in front of her, however she believed that she could tell when they had just had an argument. She said that within the first year of knowing her, Petito spent between seven and 10 nights at her house after they had fought.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do believe that their relationship as they kept going on was getting more problematic. She\u2019s considered reaching out to Laundrie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to stand outside his house and to just beg him to tell me where he last saw her, but I know he won\u2019t and I can\u2019t force him to talk to me,\u201d she told the Mail while crying.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor all we know, he\u2019s scared and handling this all wrong. I just wish he would talk. Just give me three words, the name of a park.
