href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointment to \u201cWhat? How did (fill-in-the-blank) win?!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Emmys, of course, are no different, and each year the Television Academy \u2014 which chooses who wins a statuette or who\u2019s \u201cjust happy to be nominated\u201d \u2014 ends up on the sharp end of fans\u2019 and critics\u2019 stick. It\u2019s a can\u2019t-win situation.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, it\u2019s a little different this year. In several cases, nominees who should win an Emmy will, in my opinion, walk away with the golden statuette \u2014 unlike past years, which often left me scratching my head in disbelief. Here\u2019s who I think <em>should<\/em> win and <em>will<\/em> win when CBS airs the Emmys live at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Outstanding_Drama_Series\"><\/span><strong>Outstanding Drama Series<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nominees<\/strong>: \u201cThe Boys,\u201d \u201cBridgerton,\u201d \u201cThe Crown,\u201d \u201cThe Mandalorian,\u201d \u201cLovecraft Country,\u201d \u201cPose,\u201d \u201cThe Handmaid\u2019s Tale,\u201d \u201cThis Is Us\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who should win<\/strong>: \u201c<strong>The Boys<\/strong>\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Amazon\u2019s off-kilter, wickedly funny\/violent <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> mixes cartoonish gore with sharp-edged humor, positing a world in which superheroes are not very nice people \u2014 in some cases, they\u2019re narcissistic, cold-blooded murderers and sexual predators (the smarmy Homelander, played Antony Starr). It\u2019s one of TV\u2019s best series right now, with a, yes, killer cast. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/the-boys.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"The Boys\" class=\"wp-image-19501871\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/the-boys.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/the-boys.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/the-boys.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>\u201cThe Boys\u201d It\u2019s one of TV\u2019s best series right now.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Amazon Studios, Prime Video<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Who will win<\/strong>: \u201c<strong>Bridgerton<\/strong>\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Shonda Rhimes\u2019 period drama on Netflix, set in 1813 London high-society, was a talker, if only for the too-cutesy \u201cLady Whistledown\u201d (catchy name) and the romance factor.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Outstanding_Comedy_Series\"><\/span><strong>Outstanding Comedy Series<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nominees<\/strong>: \u201cBlack-ish,\u201d \u201cCobra Kai,\u201d \u201cPen15,\u201d \u201cEmily in Paris,\u201d \u201cHacks,\u201d \u201cTed Lasso,\u201d \u201cThe Flight Attendant,\u201d \u201cThe Kominsky Method\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who should win<\/strong>: \u201c<strong>Ted Lasso<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who will win<\/strong>: \u201c<strong>Ted Lasso<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n<p>If the Television Academy gets this one wrong, it will be an egregious mic-drop moment. Brown (\u201cThis Is Us\u201d), Billy Porter (\u201cPose\u201d), Jonathan Majors (\u201cLovecraft Country\u201d), Matthew Rhys (\u201cPerry Mason\u201d), Josh O\u2019Connor (\u201cThe Crown\u201d)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who should win<\/strong>: <strong>Sterling K. Brown<\/strong>. It helped that she had a strong supporting cast, notably Anthony Ramos and John Benjamin Hickey.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who will win<\/strong>: <strong>Elisabeth Moss<\/strong>. Corrin and Colman will cancel each other out. But Moss? Really? It\u2019s a lazy choice. And, really, how many more full-screen closeups of Moss as a sulking\/smirking\/defeated\/triumphant\/f\u2013k you June Osborne do we need? Again, it\u2019s a too-crowded field, and I think the four \u201cHandmaid\u2019s Tale\u201d nominees will cancel each other out \u2026 and Anderson\u2019s cartoonish, dessicated Margaret Thatcher sounded like she was constipated, so forget her.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Outstanding_Lead_Actor_in_a_Comedy_Series\"><\/span><strong>Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nominees<\/strong>: Jason Sudeikis (\u201cTed Lasso\u201d), Anthony Anderson (\u201cBlack-ish\u201d), Michael Douglas (\u201cThe Kominsky Method\u201d), William H. Macy (\u201cShameless\u201d), Kenan Thompson (\u201cKenan\u201d)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who should win<\/strong>: <strong>Jason Sudeikis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Who will win:<\/strong> <strong>Sudeikis<\/strong>, who is head-and-shoulders above his fellow nominees in creating a lovable, fish-out-of-water character who sees the good in everyone and makes everyone in his orbit just a little better.
