You can easily see the current temperature and look into the forecast. They can also show you information about the air quality (AQI). In some places, that\u2019s important to know.<\/p>\n<p>In late 2021, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reviewgeek.com\/94777\/google-nest-hubs-will-warn-you-about-smoggy-weather\/\">Google introduced some air quality features<\/a> for Google Assistant smart displays. The higher the number, the worse the air quality. When there\u2019s a lot of smoke, pollen, or pollution in the air, the AQI number is high.<\/p>\n<p>There are several services that record air quality and publish AQI numbers. Google is using <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.airnow.gov\/\">AirNow<\/a>, which is run by the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_Environmental_Protection_Agency\">EPA<\/a>. The goal of the AQI is to provide a simple way to see the air quality at any time.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, you don\u2019t need a Nest Hub to check the AQI.
