If you\u2019d like to make your system fonts larger on Windows 11 so they\u2019re easier to read, it\u2019s easy to increase the base Windows 11 text size that will app<\/a>ly system-wide using Settings. Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n

First, open Windows Settings. To do so quickly, right-click the Start button on your taskbar and select \u201cSettings\u201d in the menu that appears. Or you can press Windows+i on your keyboard.<\/p>\n

In Settings, click \u201cAccessibility\u201d in the sidebar, then select \u201cText Size.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"In<\/p>\n

In Text Size settings, locate the slider labeled \u201cText Size.\u201d Click and drag the circle on the slider right and left to adjust the size of the system font.<\/p>\n

\"Use<\/p>\n

As you drag the slider, you\u2019ll see a percentage number appear just above it that indicates the new size relative to the original size of 100%. So at \u201c200%,\u201d the system fonts appear twice is large as the default, for example. When you\u2019re done, click \u201cApply.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Once<\/p>\n

Immedia<\/a>tely, all open windows will visually refresh, and you\u2019ll see the text size changes reflected in them. Some larger fonts might not fit perfectly in the interface. If that\u2019s the case, you\u2019ll sometimes\u2014but not always\u2014see ellipses (three dots) when words don\u2019t fit in the space provided for them.<\/p>\n

After that, close Settings, and the new text size you selected will always apply, even after you restart your system. If you need to adjust the system font size again, just revisit Settings > Accessibility > Text Size and use the \u201cText Size\u201d slider. If you want to turn off the larger fonts completely, set the \u201cText Size\u201d slider to \u201c100%.\u201d<\/p>\n

By the way, Windows 10 will allow you to change your system font size in a similar way, but it the option is located in a different part of Settings (Ease of Access > Display). Good luck!<\/p>\n
