{"id":342837,"date":"2021-09-22T21:28:59","date_gmt":"2021-09-22T18:28:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/accused-cannibal-gets-prison-time-for-botched-castration\/"},"modified":"2021-09-22T21:28:59","modified_gmt":"2021-09-22T18:28:59","slug":"accused-cannibal-gets-prison-time-for-botched-castration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/accused-cannibal-gets-prison-time-for-botched-castration\/","title":{"rendered":"#Accused cannibal gets prison time for botched castration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Accused cannibal gets prison time for botched castration<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/botched-castration-01.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>The man charged with illegally removing a volunteer\u2019s balls and then allegedly announcing his plan to eat them has been sentenced to slightly over 12 years behind bars.<\/p>\n<p>Bob Lee Allen, 54, and his husband Thomas Evans Gates III, 42, were charged last year for castrating the victim, a then-willing 28-year-old who had flown from Virginia to get the procedure after connecting with Allen on the now-defunct castration forum Eunuch Maker, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/en\/article\/g5gapy\/man-sentenced-to-prison-for-botched-castration-in-cabin-in-the-woods\">Vice reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The victim told investigators that Allen boasted he had 15 years of experience performing gender reassignment surgeries, had six clients lined up for the procedure and kept body parts in his freezer.<\/p>\n<p>The couple then drove the victim to their secluded cabin in the southeast Oklahoma woods where Allen performed the two-hour surgery using only local anesthetic. Following the procedure, Allen reportedly \u201csaid that he was going to consume the parts and laughed and said that he was a cannibal\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oklahoman.com\/story\/news\/columns\/2021\/02\/26\/defendant-in-castration-case-denies-cannibalism-talk\/333330007\/\">the Oklahoman reported<\/a>. Allen has denied this claim.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>A day following the castration, Allen took the victim to the hospital for bleeding, threatening to dump him in the woods should he pass out on the way. Hospital personnel alerted police, who found \u201cwhat <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared to be testicles\u201d when they subsequently searched the cabin. The couple was arrested shortly thereafter when they tried to visit the victim at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is something that we have never in my career run across in this part of the country,\u201d Le Flore County Sheriff Rodney Derryberry told reporters at the time, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oklahoman.com\/story\/news\/columns\/2020\/10\/22\/man-accused-of-performing-illegal-castration-at-cabin-in-oklahoma-woods-says-hes-a-cannibal\/305247007\/\">according to the local news site<\/a>. \u201cI can\u2019t say it\u2019s cult activity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The suspects were initially charged with performing unlicensed surgery, conspiracy to commit unlicensed surgery, maiming and assault, and battery with a dangerous weapon. Gates testified against his husband and, in exchange, prosecutors dismissed three felony counts against him. He ultimately pled guilty for possessing psychedelic mushrooms, possessing drug paraphernalia and keeping the victim\u2019s castrated parts in a freezer in the cabin instead of burying them, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oklahoman.com\/story\/news\/2021\/08\/05\/oklahoma-illegal-castration-case-newlywed-testify-against-husband-cannibalism-accusation\/5503946001\/\">the Oklahoman reported<\/a>. He was released from jail Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Allen, meanwhile, avoided a jury trial by pleading no contest on five counts.
