\nElon Musk<\/strong> and Grimes<\/strong> are done!<\/p>\n

The SpaceX<\/strong> founder confirmed the news<\/a> to Page Six<\/em> on Friday, but revealed that the former couple, who were together for three years, remain on \u201cgreat terms.\u201d He explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He even shared insight into the unexpected breakup, blaming their work schedules for the difficulty in maintaining a healthy relationship. The 50-year-old added:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla<\/strong> requires me to be primarily in Texas or travel<\/a>ing overseas and her work is primarily in LA.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

All that said, the musician is currently living with the billionaire so\u2026 not sure we totally buy that answer. It remains a bit unclear where exactly they\u2019re located, but it could be El Lay since the Canadian is busy filming Fox<\/strong>\u2019s new show Alter Ego<\/em>. Elon continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As Perezcious readers will recall, the duo first got together in May 2018 before welcoming their son X \u00c6 A-Xii<\/strong>\u00a0in May 2020.\u00a0The co-parents do seem to be getting along since they were most recently spotted at the Met Gala<\/strong> together (though the singer walked the carpet alone). They even hit up a party afterward, which the entrepreneur threw at club Zero Bond<\/strong>. It\u2019s good news for their little kiddo that they remain close!<\/p>\n
