For kids to be looking at this, is that OK??\u201d she said in viral videos <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DamnNobueno\/status\/1440706200673284100\">posted to Twitter<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The woman walked up and down the D train car, ripping the ads down \u2014 while ranting about COVID-19 and communism \u2014 as silent, masked straphangers looked on.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not clear just when the video was recorded. The colorful ads began to appear on subway trains over the summer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNicely done,\u201d another woman told her. \u201cThat\u2019s what bravery looks like. Say \u2018No\u2019 to propaganda.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The provocative ads target \u201cnon-monogamists,\u201d monogamists, \u201cpansexuals,\u201d potheads, \u201cbears,\u201d fetishists, and just about every other group. <\/p>\n<p>One aimed at \u201csubmissives\u201d features women trampling an epicene man, who reaches out to grab one\u2019s foot.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/okcupid-ads-5.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"OK Cupid ads\" class=\"wp-image-19577727\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/okcupid-ads-5.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1536 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/okcupid-ads-5.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/okcupid-ads-5.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>The ads display overtly sexual themes within them.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">OKCupid\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another directed toward \u201cintroverts\u201d shows two people of indeterminate sex, one kneeling before the other in a pose suggestive of oral sex.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also a threesome, and one up-close image of two tongues slithering into one.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf fondling your partner while she sits on what appears to be a quiche is your thing, by all means go for it. I would just prefer not to have to spend half an hour sitting in the room where you\u2019re doing it,\u201d one beleaguered commuter, who declined to give his name, griped to The Post. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOk Cupid\u2019s ads make me into a nonconsensual participant in the sex lives of strangers twice a day, every day. Riders who violate that basic principle are subject to prosecution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The agency refused to say how much it made from the ad campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Ok Cupid\u2019s chief marketing officer, Melissa Hobley, said \u201cmany\u201d have contacted the company to praise the ad campaign. \u201cA much smaller few have had shockingly vitriolic reactions to it; but these reactions only serve to make it even more clear that we must continue to champion people who are historically underrepresented.
