Just makes this streak that much more special!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Brian Laundrie Search Being \u2018Scaled Back\u2019 As FBI Request Items With His DNA On Them<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>John Legend<\/strong>\u2019s wife also got candid about how she views her relationships with alcohol now that she\u2019s taken a break from it, adding at the time:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis is my longest streak yet! I still dunno if I\u2019ll never drink again but I do know it no longer serves me in ANY way. I don\u2019t get more fun, I don\u2019t dance, I don\u2019t get relaxed. I get sick, fall asleep and wake up sick, having missed what was probably a fun night.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Great to know she\u2019s already learned so much about herself in the process! While there may come a day when she feels more confident to drink \u201cresponsibly,\u201d for now she\u2019s looking to stay sober to improve her mental health.<\/p>\n<p>As Perezcious readers know, the 35-year-old first revealed she was four weeks without a drink in December, months after suffering a devastating pregnancy loss. At the time, she admitted she was \u201cdone with making an ass of myself in front of people.\u201d Wanting to focus on her overall quality of life, the foodie is now forcing herself to process the death of her third child <strong>Jack<\/strong> without the help of \u201calcohol to numb it away.\u201d She reflected in August:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI don\u2019t really feel like I fully processed Jack and now that I don\u2019t have the alcohol to numb it away, things are just\u2026 there, waiting to be acknowledged. I guess what I\u2019m saying here is life is so f**king complicated.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>All the more reason to celebrate making it through 70 days sober!
