The ad was published by the director of NBU\u2019s IT department, Vladimir Nagornyuk.<\/p>\n<p> The ad goes on to list \u201cdevelopment, implementation and modification of infrastructure services [\u2026] and distributed systems\u201d among the prospective employee\u2019s duties, in addition to mentioning smart contracts and Hyperledger competencies among the requirements for the job.<\/p>\n<p> The central bank\u2019s interest in blockchain hires adds to other recent <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> coming out of Ukraine\u2019s CBDC project, the e-hryvnia. Last week, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ukNVSVO2LXU&amp;t=2366s&amp;ab_channel=LBTV\">speaking<\/a> at a round table discussion on the opportunities and risks of virtual assets\u2019 legalization, Ukraine&#8217;s deputy minister of digital transformation\u00a0Oleksandr Bornyakov mentioned that the e-hryvnia pilot was underway. <\/p>\n<p>NBU has been <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/bank.gov.ua\/en\/news\/all\/natsionalniy-bank-zosereditsya-na-opratsyuvanni-troh-mojlivih-variantiv-vikoristannya-e-grivni\">considering<\/a> the possibility of issuing a central bank digital currency, or CBDC, since 2016, while pilot testing of the e-hryvnia as a means of blockchain-based retail payments began two years later, in 2018.
