He was 72.<\/p>\n<p>Best-known as the dashing romantic lead Quinton McCord Chamberlain on \u201cGuiding Light\u201d from 1981 to 1997, the actor and educator most recently voiced the character of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt4113712\/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_1\">Deathstroke<\/a> in the 2014 mini<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> \u201dNightwing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The film professor\u2019s death was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unlv.edu\/news\/unlvtoday\/passing-film-and-theatre-professor-michael-tylo\">confirmed by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas<\/a>, where he started as a visiting theater and film prof in 2003. He later went on to serve as assistant dean for the College of Fine Arts, teaching acting for UNLV Film.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMichael Tylo was a beautiful and caring human being \u2014\u00a0he was so special,\u201d said Nancy Uscher, dean of the College of Fine Arts, in a statement. \u201cHe was an exemplary friend, colleague, teacher, and artist. He had such a distinguished and rich career, but he was humble about his accomplishments. He loved his family dearly and lived a joyous life, but he left us way too soon. We will miss him greatly, but feel deep gratitude about all that Michael contributed to the College of Fine Arts, UNLV, and the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2012, Typo performed with students at the Nevada Conservatory Theatre and in\u00a0\u201cStealing Las Vegas,\u201d a feature film produced by UNLV and indie cinema legend Roger Corman.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his extensive suds stints, Tylo also <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0098957\/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_23\">starred in the syndicated prime time series \u201cZorro\u201d<\/a> for two seasons as Alcalde Luis Ramon. He would make his final soap <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance on\u00a0\u201cThe Bold and the Beautiful,\u201d playing sleazeball lawyer Sherman Gale for six episodes in 2000.<\/p>\n<p>Tylo also had the distinction of being the final witness exposed as the real killer by classic TV\u2019s most legendary defense lawyer in 1993\u2019s\u00a0\u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0107811?ref_=nmbio_trv_6\">Perry Mason: The Case of the Killer Kiss<\/a>,\u201d according to his official IMDB bio.<\/p>\n<p>Upon <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of his passing, Tylo was mourned on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> by his legion of fans and colleagues.
