\nWell, that was a fast once-in-a-lifetime romance\u2026<\/p>\n

Back in August \u2014 just a month and a half ago \u2014\u00a0Lil Nas X<\/strong> seemed so excited about his new relationship. He told\u00a0Variety<\/em> at the time:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve found someone special now. I think this is the one. I can\u2019t explain it \u2014 it\u2019s just a feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cThe one\u201d! We were so happ<\/a>y for him, but also\u2026 he is pretty young to have found his OTP so fast, right?<\/p>\n

Seems like it\u2026<\/p>\n

In a new interview on\u00a0SiriusXM<\/strong>, host Andy Cohen<\/strong> asked about the special somebody, and it sounded like Montero had no idea what he was even talking about! He responded:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere did you read that?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Andy told him:<\/p>\n

\u201cI heard you have a boyfriend. I heard you\u2019re seeing somebody.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Lil Nas X then opened up the tiniest bit, seemingly revealing he had broken up with his \u201cthe one\u201d:<\/p>\n

\u201cI was seeing someone. Um, I kind of decided I didn\u2019t want to anymore\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Sounds cold, right? Granted, we don\u2019t know the full story. Maybe the Call Me By Your Name<\/em> singer was just getting ahead of himself in that earlier convo?<\/p>\n

Consummate pro Cohen immedia<\/a>tely shifted gears, saying there must be \u201cthousands of people applying for the job of a Lil Nas X\u2019s boyfriend,\u201d to which the hitmaker responds coolly:<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are definitely a couple of people for sure. A couple of people out there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Is he just all about playing the field? Enjoying that wild rockstar lifestyle? Sowing his wild oats out on the\u00a0Old Town Road<\/em>? Actually, he makes it sound like he\u2019s just not as interested in dating as people think!<\/p>\n

When Andy asked what kind of guy he\u2019s looking for, referencing his latest track\u2019s title That\u2019s What I Want<\/em>, Montero said no one right now! He\u00a0explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to ruin anybody\u2019s, uh, perception of this song, but I don\u2019t think I want any guy right now, you know? Maybe I\u2019m floating around right now\u2026 I just want to work on music and every now and then, you know, maybe I\u2019ll kiss a guy every blue moon, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We get it! Or maybe \u201cEvery Blue Moon\u201d doesn\u2019t sound as sexy for a song title as we\u2019re used to from the 22-year-old! LOLz!<\/p>\n
