{"id":348163,"date":"2021-10-04T17:08:35","date_gmt":"2021-10-04T14:08:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/billie-eilish-slams-texas-abortion-laws-during-concert\/"},"modified":"2021-10-04T17:08:35","modified_gmt":"2021-10-04T14:08:35","slug":"billie-eilish-slams-texas-abortion-laws-during-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/billie-eilish-slams-texas-abortion-laws-during-concert\/","title":{"rendered":"#Billie Eilish slams Texas abortion laws during concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Billie Eilish slams Texas abortion laws during concert<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>Billie Eilish is trashing Texas lawmakers she sees as the bad guys.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cH<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ier Than Ever\u201d singer slammed Texas\u2019 abortion laws during a concert in Austin on Saturday, saying she was \u201csick and tired of old men\u201d who she said were responsible for restrictive legislation that took effect last month.<\/p>\n<p>Performing at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, the 19-year-old \u201cBad Guy\u201d singer called the legislation \u2014 which went into effect Sept. 1 and bans most abortions \u2014 a \u201cs\u2013t\u201d law and raised her middle finger before declaring, \u201cMy body, my f\u2013king choice,\u201d Eilish <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/billiebabycute\/status\/1444490345530773506?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1444490345530773506%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fd-2300025599606226835.ampproject.net%2F2109102127000%2Fframe.html\">can be seen telling<\/a> the cheering audience in a clip posted to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen they made that s\u2013t a law, I almost didn\u2019t want to do the show. so, because I wanted to punish this f\u2013king place for allowing that to happen here,\u201d \u201cBad Guy\u201d singer Eilish said. \u201cBut then I remembered that it\u2019s you guys that are the f\u2013king victims, and you deserve everything in the world. And we need to tell them to shut the f\u2013k up!\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>Eilish made the declarations onstage in front of a video screen with images calling for \u201cbans off our bodies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eilish previously sounded off against restrictive abortion laws last month in an Instagram Stories post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMakes me sick how many men say nothing when it comes to women\u2019s rights,\u201d she wrote, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/music\/news\/billie-eilish-texas-concert-abortion-law-b1931655.html?utm_content=Echobox&amp;utm_medium=Social&amp;utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1633327107\">according to the Independent<\/a>, which said the rant included an image that read: \u201cIf you and your \u2018homies\u2019 or bros\u2019 aren\u2019t talking about the abortion laws in Texas, chances are you\u2019re part of a problem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new Texas law \u2014 which prohibits women from getting an abortion after a fetal heartbeat can be detected and lets citizens sue doctors who help terminate pregnancies \u2014 was been slapped with a lawsuit by the Biden administration on Friday.
