This works if Windows 11 doesn\u2019t officially support your PC, too.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Check_if_Windows_11_Supports_Your_PC\"><\/span>How to Check if Windows 11 Supports Your PC<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/737021\/how-to-check-if-your-windows-10-pc-can-run-windows-11\/\">check if Windows 11 officially supports your PC hardware, download and run <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/click.linksynergy.com\/deeplink?id=2QzUaswX1as&amp;mid=24542&amp;u1=htg\/759554&amp;murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.microsoft.com%2Fen-us%2Fwindows%2Fwindows-11%23pchealthcheck\">Microsoft\u2019s PC Health Check app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Click the \u201cCheck Now\u201d button and the tool will tell you whether Windows 11 officially supports your PC. If it doesn\u2019t, the tool will give you information about why. If the problem is lack of TPM 2.0, for example, you may be able to turn TPM 2.0 on in your PC\u2019s UEFI firmware (BIOS.)<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the good <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>: Even if your PC isn\u2019t officially supported, you can still upgrade to Windows 11 anyway. It\u2019s up to you, but Microsoft warns you may experience problems and won\u2019t guarantee future updates for Windows on your hardware.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><\/h2>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Safe_and_Slow_Way_Windows_Update\"><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" name=\"autotoc_anchor_2\">The Safe and Slow Way: Windows Update<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For the safest possible update process, go to Settings &gt; Update &amp; Security &gt; Windows Update on your Windows 10 PC. (You can press Windows+i to quickly open the Settings app.)<\/p>\n<p>Click the \u201cCheck for updates\u201d button to see if any updates are available. If Microsoft thinks your PC is ready for Windows 11, you\u2019ll see an \u201cUpgrade to Windows 11 is ready\u2014and it\u2019s free!\u201d banner here. Click \u201cDownload and install\u201d to get it.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_note\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Microsoft is slowly offering this update to more and more PCs over time. If you don\u2019t see the banner offering you the update here yet, you may see it in a few weeks\u2014or a few months. For the best possible update experience on your hardware, Microsoft recommends waiting for Windows Update to offer the update to your PC. When Microsoft is confident your PC is ready, you\u2019ll get the update.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If Windows 11 doesn\u2019t officially support your PC, you will never see the update offered via Windows Update. These will skip the slow, careful upgrade process and let you skip the line and install Windows 11 right now\u2014even if your PC doesn\u2019t officially support Windows 11.<\/p>\n<p>To get started, visit Microsoft\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/software-download\/windows11\">Download Windows 11<\/a> page. We recommend you download and run the Windows 11 Update Assistant. It will update your current PC to Windows 11 for you. (You can also use the Create Windows 11 Installation Media tool to create installation media on a bootable USB or DVD, or download a Windows 11 ISO for use in a virtual machine.)<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_warning\"><p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> By installing Windows 11 immediately, you\u2019re skipping Microsoft\u2019s slow-and-steady rollout process. You may encounter bugs with Windows 11 on your hardware. If that\u2019s a deal-breaker for you, we encourage you to wait a few months before you\u2019re offered the upgrade.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you encounter a problem, note that you can downgrade back to Windows 10 within the first ten days after upgrading.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft says these tools will also let you upgrade a Windows 10 PC to Windows 11, even if the PC\u2019s hardware isn\u2019t officially supported by Windows 11. You\u2019ll just have to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reviewgeek.com\/98372\/microsoft-makes-you-sign-a-waiver-if-you-install-windows-11-on-an-unsupported-pc\/\">agree to a warning first<\/a>.
