Because the show is often either live or pre-taped within the week before, it means that there isn\u2019t much turnaround. We\u2019ve already seen that there are ways the show can go on even if it\u2019s not taking place at Studio 8H.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Want to get some more <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> when it comes to\u00a0<em>Saturday Night Live\u00a0<\/em>in video form?\u00a0<\/strong>Then be sure to check out our latest breakdown below! Once you do that, <strong>subscribe\u00a0<\/strong><span>to CarterMatt on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a><\/span> and then view our show playlist.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, there\u2019s also a precedence for the network airing some Thursday specials in election years. We\u2019ve seen it before, mostly in the form of an extended <em>Weekend Update.<\/em> It gives the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> a little more juice and gets NBC even better ratings. We\u2019re sure that this is something that they\u2019d be interested in doing again \u2026 but should they?<\/p>\n<p>For the time being, we\u2019d say that our answer is yes with some conditions. The return of five or six <em>Weekend Update Thursday<\/em> specials this fall could prove fruitful, if there is a way to do them back in studio. Even if it\u2019s not live, that vibe works significantly better than doing Weekend Update remotely with Michael Che and Colin Jost. Given that the two guys are at a desk already, there may be a way that you can distance them and most of the crew as much as possible. Meanwhile, the world may be a little safer (fingers crossed) within the next three months to make such an event possible.<\/p>\n<p>Technically, it\u2019s possible that\u00a0<em>Saturday Night Live\u00a0<\/em>will shift back in studio for much of the upcoming season, though we\u2019re not anywhere close to the point where that can be confirmed. If they are able to make it h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en, don\u2019t bank on there being an audience.
