Despite being completely terrified, Miko carries on with her daily life, pretending not to notice the horrors that surround her. She must endure the fear in order to keep herself and her friend Hana out of danger, even if that means coming face to face with the absolute worst. Blending both comedy and horror, Mieruko-chan tells the story of a girl who tries to deal with the paranormal by acting indifferent toward it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The anime really does a great job of just creeping you out with the ghost\u2019s design. Not just the look but my goodness the sound of their voice, the crackling sound of their movement, and the unease you get from watching Miko trying her best to pretend she can\u2019t see them. That part alone makes you wonder what would have if she ever acknowledges their existence, even by accident. I\u2019m really keen on learning more for sure. The other side is how weirdly comical it can get for Miko and how she monologues her experiences. Yeah, there\u2019s clear fanservice but it doesn\u2019t get too intrusive so that cool.
