Just \u201clisten to the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a>,\u201d which shows that the spring school closures have, among other things, \u201cled to months of lost learning and widened gaps in educational achievement.\u201d At the same time, studies show children are \u201cless likely to become seriously ill from COVID-19,\u201d half as likely to \u201cget infected in the first place\u201d and \u201cless likely than adults to\u201d transmit it to others. Yes, schools would need to \u201cimplement proven risk-reduction strategies\u201d \u2014 but that\u2019s no reason to keep them closed. \u201cListen to the evidence,\u201d in other words: Let kids learn in person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culture critic: A Theocracy of the Woke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWoke-ism is fast becoming the new state religion,\u201d Ben Weingarten \u00adlaments at <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a>week \u2014 \u201cthe ultimate tool of cynical, radically leftist power-grabbers.\u201d Its main principle \u2014 that \u201cAmerica is a deplorable, irredeemable nation\u201d\u2014 isn\u2019t new among leftists, but only recently have our elites \u201cmainstreamed\u201d it. Politicians such as Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo, among others, have let \u201cthe Woke flood the streets\u201d to start \u201crioting and looting with impunity\u201d while banning Christians and Jews from practicing their religion, and the ideology has even spread to the federal financial and security establishments. Such a situation portends the undermining of our founding principles and \u201cdismantling of our system\u201d \u2014 leading, in the end, to \u201ca theocracy of the woke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Libertarian: Our Worsening Economic Crisis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>New data show that \u201cpermanent business closures\u201d are \u201con the rise \u00adnationwide, even as consumer activity continues to slowly increase,\u201d \u00adreports Reason\u2019s Eric Boehm, with even big businesses \u201cnow making further cuts.\u201d Restaurants \u201chave been hardest hit.\u201d No matter how much they reopen, after all, \u201cthere\u2019s no substitute for a packed house on Friday night,\u201d which is \u201csimply not realistic right now.\u201d Even federal assistance and loans \u201cmay end up merely having flattened the curve\u201d of job losses. Worse, we have no solution right now: The economy will only reopen if most Americans \u201cfeel safe going out to restaurants and stores again,\u201d which won\u2019t h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en \u201cuntil the number of coronavirus cases and deaths start falling\u201d \u2014 \u201ca vicious cycle for the country and death spiral for many businesses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conservative: An Octogenarian Tyranny<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmerican politics is getting senile,\u201d blasts Daniel McCarthy in The Spectator. Polls show that the public is about to turn its back against President Trump. Yet \u201chis defeat does not promise to be a source of renewal \u2014 not when the alternative is a 77-year-old former vice president.\u201d Joe Biden represents and\/or outright committed all the major foreign-policy and economic blunders of his generation of establishment leaders. And joining him will be an equally old and discredited Democratic leadership in the House, including \u201cthe chamber\u2019s oldest ever Speaker (80-year-old Nancy Pelosi), an even older House majority leader (Steny Hoyer, 81) and a third octogenarian as majority whip (James Clyburn, 80).\u201d Predictably, given the two parties\u2019 aging power base, their programs are downright \u201cstale\u201d and \u201cdecrepit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education desk: No to a Federal School Bailout<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlmost half of House Democrats\u201d want \u201can additional $305 billion for an 18-month \u2018stabilization\u2019 fund for K-12 public schools\u201d \u2014 a \u201cmassive increase in federal taxpayer spending\u201d that\u2019s \u201cat least a year too early for Congress to consider,\u201d economist Benjamin Scafidi worries at The Washington Examiner. \u201cInstead, public schools should follow the lead from the private sector by right-sizing their staffing models,\u201d starting by considering if they really \u201cneed to increase staff endlessly.\u201d If they need money after that, they should \u201crely on state and school-district reserve funding first\u201d \u2014 and if all of those sources don\u2019t work out, then Congress can consider a bailout.
