But if you\u2019re most comfortable using Excel, why not use it to create the form you need? Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Enable_the_Developer_Tab_in_Excel\"><\/span>Enable the Developer Tab in Excel<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In order to use the tools that you need to create a form in Excel, you must enable the Developer tab. If you already see this tab, you\u2019re one step ahead and can move to the next section. But if not, here\u2019s how to show the Developer tab.<\/p>\n<p>Open Excel and go to File &gt; Options. Click \u201cCustomize Ribbon\u201d on the left side of the Excel Options window.<\/p>\n<p>On the right, use the Customize the Ribbon section and select \u201cMain Tabs\u201d in the drop-down box. You can also drag through the cells to populate that field. Note that if you don\u2019t require a password, another user can unprotect the sheet.
