\nLil Wayne time-travel<\/a>ed to circa 2008 and came back with \u201cYa Dig\u201d from Tha Carter III<\/em> sessions. The\u00a0Tarik Azzouz-produced track received an official release on Thursday (October 7) when it hit streaming services courtesy of Young Money Records.<\/p>\n

The song is sure to give fans a heavy dose of nostalgia back to Lil Wayne\u2019s golden era when his syrupy flows and raspy rhymes ran the Hip Hop world as Weezy sat on the throne atop the rap zeitgeist.<\/p>\n

\u201cI own ev\u0435rything around me, now get the fuck from \u2019round me\/I should pull out my dick and watch you climb on\/Get the fuck up out my hair unless you\u2019re my comb\/That mean mind yours because I\u2019m grown\/And I\u2019ma die alone with my styrofoam,\u201d he raps.<\/p>\n

\u201cYa Dig\u201d also implements the soulful Margie Joseph\u2019s \u201cStop, in the Name of Love\u201d sample, which Lil Wayne also used in 2007\u2019s \u201cGossip.\u201d That song ended up landing on his The Leak<\/em> EP which set the stage for the grand arrival of Tha Carter III<\/em> in June of 2008.<\/p>\n
