And in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AC360\/status\/1445916631088128005\">laughter-filled interview<\/a> with \u201cAC 360\u00b0\u201d host and chronic giggler Anderson Cooper on Wednesday, the infamously phallic shape of Bezos\u2019 Blue Origin rocket arose in the discussion \u2014 and a tawdry turn took flight.<\/p>\n<p>Shatner confessed that, until Cooper played a clip of it, he hadn\u2019t seen \u201call that fire and brimstone\u201d when the Bezos-carrying rocket took off over the summer. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a little scary, I gotta tell ya,\u201d Shatner said.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper then noted that \u201csome people made fun of the way the rocket looks,\u201d a reference to the long, cylindrical shape of the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s nothing to make fun of. We\u2019re inseminating the space program,\u201d Shatner deadpanned to a busting-up Cooper, who said he wondered whether Captain Kirk realized what he was even referencing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, leave it to you to throw it out there for somebody else to pick up,\u201d Shatner told Cooper, who was, by then, coming down from his laughing fit. \u201cBut it certainly does look \u2014 when they say insertion, do they really mean insertion?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-wrapper twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;I want to press my nose up against the plastic window. It was all pretend,\u201d Shatner told the laughing host. \u201cI was on a set in Paramount studios. When shooting \u2018Star Trek,\u2019 it was a figment of our collective imagination.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shatner added that he currently is in training for the trip \u2014 \u201cI think of it as rehearsal,\u201d he said, using actors\u2019 parlance \u2014 and half-jokingly added that \u201cthe best training is to fill my lungs and let the air go back out. And this exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide \u2014 very important.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really quite <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>rehensive, as you might have guessed. I\u2019m a little nervous about that. No, I really am,\u201d Shatner continued. \u201cThere\u2019s an element of chance here. This isn\u2019t like going on one of the various life-ending possibilities that I\u2019ve done all my life,\u201d mentioning that he \u201cfaced death hour by hour\u201d on a motorcycle journey he once took from Chicago to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cWhen I come back, imagine the sanguinity and the ease and the peace that we can talk about,\u201d he added before wondering what he would see out in space, suggesting that recent hysteria about UFOs and Martians could come into play.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat will I see when I\u2019m out there? What will I see?\u201d he asked. \u201cBecause not only will I look at the majesty of space and the oasis of Earth, but isn\u2019t there a possibility that things fly by as we\u2019ve seen on cameras? What\u2019s the explanation of that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cooper then joked that Shatner \u201ccould be grabbed and probed by some alien life form\u201d while he\u2019s floating through the cosmos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah.
