“#How to Turn Off Suggested Ads in the Firefox Address Bar”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Starting with Mozilla Firefox version 93<\/a>, the browser includes a new addition to the Firefox Suggest feature<\/a> that occasionally shows sponsored suggestions. Luckily, if you don\u2019t want to see ads in your browser address bar, you can disable them in Settings. Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n

First, open Firefox. In the upper-right corner of any Firefox window, click the hamburger button (three lines), then select \u201cSettings\u201d in the menu that app<\/a>ears.<\/p>\n

When the Settings tab opens, click \u201cPrivacy & Security\u201d in the sidebar.<\/p>\n

In Privacy & Security settings, scroll down to the \u201cAddress Bar \u2014 Firefox Suggest\u201d section and uncheck both \u201cContextual Suggestions\u201d and \u201cInclude occasional sponsored suggestions.\u201d<\/p>\n

After that, close the settings tab. Sponsored suggestions will no longer show up in the address bar results. Happy browsing!<\/p>\n
