The reality dating show landscape is filled with young singles ready to mingle, but what happ<\/a>ens when their parents get a shot at love? Created by father-daughter duo Greg and Haley Daniels (The Office<\/em>, Parks and Recreation<\/em>), HBO Max\u2019s My Mom, Your Dad<\/em> will show what happens when kids attempt to set up their single parents, hosted by Emmy-nominated actress and comedia<\/a>n Yvonne Orji (Insecure<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\u201cMy Mom, Your Dad<\/em> follows a group of single parents who have been nominated by their college-age kids for a second chance at love. The parents move into a house together, unaware that their adult children are right down the street living in a second house, watching their every move through hidden cameras and manipulating their encounters,\u201d states the show\u2019s logline.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom humorous cringe moments to heartwarming confessions, the kids will see their parents in a whole new light as they are presented with opportunities to select who they\u2019ll be matched with on one-on-one dates, and who may join the family Thanksgiving for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Daniels duo will produce the series with ITV Entertainment, the studio behind reality TV favorites Queer Eye<\/em> and Love Island<\/em>. Another expert of reality TV, Sam Dean (FBOY Island<\/em>, Love is Blind<\/em>) will act as the series showrunner.<\/p>\n

HBO Max\u2019s Executive Vice President of Non-Fiction and Live-Action Family, Jennifer O\u2019Connell, expressed her excitement about the upcoming series, stating, \u201cCreated by a father-daughter duo who represent the two generational perspectives in the show, the concept of My Mom, Your Dad<\/em> is heartfelt, hilarious, and cringeworthy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGreg\u2019s comedic brilliance with Haley\u2019s original ideas, combined with the unscripted expertise of ITV Entertainment and the multi-talented Yvonne Orji is sure to result in highly addictive viewing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joining the Daniels and Dean are executive producers David Eilenberg, Simon Thomas, and Bernie Schaeffer. Rombola Entertainment will produce the series in association with ITV Entertainment.<\/p>\n
