Then hit Enter.<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt install steam<\/pre>\n<p>If you\u2019re using Debian, you\u2019ll need to prepare your system first before you can install Steam. Open the Terminal, copy and paste the following command, and hit enter.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>sudo dnf install https:\/\/mirrors.rpmfusion.org\/nonfree\/fedora\/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-$(rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>Now that you have enabled the non-free Fedora repository, use this command to install Steam.<\/p>\n<pre>sudo dnf install steam<\/pre>\n<p>On OpenSUSE, you can install Steam using the Zypper package manager.<\/p>\n<pre>sudo zypper install steam<\/pre>\n<p>You can install Steam from the third-party EPEL (Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux) repository on other RPM-based distributions like Red Hat Enterprise Linux.<\/p>\n<p>Head over to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/download1.rpmfusion.org\/nonfree\/el\/updates\/7\/x86_64\/s\/\">this link<\/a> and download the Steam RPM file. It\u2019s also one of the reasons why people like Windows. Having a gazillion Linux distributions with different package managers can lead to confusion, but there\u2019s one package manager that mostly solves this problem.
