That marks the highest cancellation rate of any major US airline by far, according to the site.<\/p>\n<p>More than 300\u00a0other\u00a0Southwest flights were facing delays, the site\u2019s data showed.<\/p>\n<p>The airline\u2019s latest woes come after it had to ground more than 25 percent of its scheduled flights on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The mass cancelations and delays on the busy Columbus Day weekend come after the airline\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.swamedia.com\/releases\/release-66d1c9ae7fd4aa2df09a33d586c3b894-southwest-airlines-complying-with-directive-for-federal-contractors-by-requiring-all-employees-to-become-fully-vaccinated-against-covid-19\">announced last week<\/a>\u00a0that it would require all of its employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine, as\u00a0called for by President Joe Biden earlier this year.Employees must get vaccinated before Dec. 8 or face termination.
