But with iOS 15, the Find My <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a> was enhanced to locate a device even if it\u2019s powered off.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Enable_the_Find_My_Network\"><\/span>Enable the Find My Network<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In order to use this method, you\u2019ll need to have enabled <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/725842\/what-is-apples-find-my-network\/\">the Find My Network.\u00a0By enabling it, Apple reports that you can <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/ios\/ios-15\/features\/\">locate your misplaced device for up to 24 hours<\/a> even if it\u2019s turned off. If you\u2019ve already enabled the Find My app on your iPhone, you may not have noticed this additional setting.\u00a0It\u2019s possible, though, that Find My Network was enabled by default after upgrading to iOS 15.<\/p>\n<p>If you have an iPhone in hand that you want to make sure has the Find My Network enabled, open Settings on your iPhone and tap your Apple ID at the top. Select \u201cFind My\u201d and then tap \u201cFind My iPhone.\u201d You\u2019ll then see the option to enable Find My Network.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-760193\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/FindMyNetworkiPhone-iPhoneLost.jpg?trim=1,1&amp;bg-color=000&amp;pad=1,1\" alt=\"Enable the Find My Network in Settings\" width=\"650\" height=\"466\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll also notice a toggle for Send Last Location which is another helpful feature to enable. This will send the last known location of your device to Apple if the battery is low.<\/p>\n<p>Once you enable the Find My Network option, you\u2019ll see a message the next time you turn off your device. Open the Find My app and tap \u201cDevices\u201d in the small box on the bottom. You should see the address in the box and the icon on the map. You can then perform the same actions as on iPad.
