\nWe knew Kim Kardashian<\/strong> and Kanye West<\/strong> were \u201cmaking eyes at each other\u201d all evening on Saturday Night Live<\/em>, but could that have been because \u2018Ye was trying to keep his ex in check?<\/p>\n

According to The Sun<\/em>, the rapp<\/a>er was heavily involved in the production process for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians<\/em> star\u2019s hosting gig, even dictating what she could and could not joke about!<\/p>\n

On Monday, a source claimed that the Gold Digger<\/em> vocalist demanded his estranged wife \u201cnot to joke about an old tweet calling Kris Jenner<\/strong> a \u2018white supremacist.\u2019\u201d Dang!! Would Kim really have joked about that?? Well, not exactly.<\/p>\n

That topic was apparently off-limits for her as well (though some other pretty touchy family issues weren\u2019t!). The insider explained that original plans for the segment titled \u201cThe People\u2019s Kourt\u201d included some harsh tweets the rapper posted last year, sharing:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe writers wanted to include some from last summer, like calling Kim and Kris white supremacists but Kim shut that down. Kris and Kanye agreed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

No s**t!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not hard to see why this \u201cjoke\u201d was too much for the family. For one, the tweet was blasted across the internet during the songwriter\u2019s particularly challenging battle with bipolar disorder in July 2020. Obviously, making light of mental health wouldn\u2019t be a laughable matter at all. Also, we don\u2019t think Kim and Kris would want the whole world associating with \u201cwhite supremacy,\u201d considering their respective biracial kids and grandchildren! Never a good look, but especially not for someone so concerned about her brand!<\/p>\n

As we reported at the time, the Twitter<\/a> message in question included a screenshot of unanswered text messages to the Kar-Jenner matriarch. The Yeezy<\/strong> founder captioned the post:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhite supremacy at its highest no cap.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

His texts read:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Ye. You ready to talk now r are you still avoiding my calls?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

When the 65-year-old never responded, he hit her back up with:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Ye. You wanna talk now or go to war?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Safe to say she didn\u2019t want to talk since he brought the feud to social media! As Saturday night\u2019s viewers saw, the bit never made it in \u201cPeople\u2019s Kourt,\u201d which saw Kim pretend to be her older sister Kourtney<\/strong> Kardashian<\/strong> ruling out sentences to family members.<\/p>\n
