Typically, Windows 11 will automatically set your PC\u2019s time zone based on your location information, but if you have location services turn off (or Windows is confused), you can manually set your time zone as well. Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n

First, open Windows Settings by pressing Windows+i on your keyboard. Or you can open Start and search for \u201csettings,\u201d then click the \u201cWindows Settings\u201d icon.<\/p>\n

When Settings opens, select \u201cTime & Language\u201d in the sidebar, then click \u201cDate & Time.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Date & Time settings, scroll down and flip the switch beside \u201cSet Time Zone Automatically\u201d to \u201cOff.\u201d<\/p>\n

If the option is greyed out, it\u2019s because your privacy options don\u2019t allow sharing your PC\u2019s location with Microsoft. If that\u2019s the case, then this option is already set to \u201cOff.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next, move up one row in Settings until you see the \u201cTime Zone\u201d option. Click the drop-down menu beside it and select the time zone you\u2019d like to use.<\/p>\n

After that, close Settings, and you\u2019re ready to go. If you ever need to manually change your time zone again, just open Settings and change it in Time & Language > Date & Time.
